Christmas in January

Christmas has come and gone. And when it was actually acceptable to post Christmas decor pictures we were MIA from the blogworld. But it's never too late right? Here is a tinsy little look at our 2009 Christmas decor.

Here is Allan on the roof, patiently waiting for me to bring the ladder to him



This is the scratch I made on Allan's car after his genius idea to get on the roof, push the ladder away and have me lift the 4,753 pound ladder back up to him. Don't worry, I eventually got the ladder up to him, I didn't even have to call for help!

Wendy is Thankful for...

It is very easy to take things for granted and forget how good I have it.... So, in honor of the impending holiday, I decided to break it up and make a small list of the things I am thankful for.

• My family and friends. Y'all are the best!

• The most wonderful hubby a girl could ask for! Love you bunches and bunches!
  

• Health and happiness.
  

• A roof over my head and a warm place to sleep... our lovely home!

• Food on the table (and in my tummy). This year especially since there are so many families who can't afford to put a turkey on the Thanksgiving table.

• A job, car and a few dollars in my pocket.
  

• And of course, Riley!
